Jogwa - Intense experience

The Marati movie, Jogwa is an intense movie showing the violence in families. It shows how the society and parents force young people and lead them in a impractical way of living. Parents should not treat their children as a toy. Each child is an individual human being having the natural feelings and emotions like any one in this world. Some child can not become special and lead an impractical life due to force.

Movie is directed by Rajiv Patil in a realistic way. The movie is focused only on the core issue and not drifted for other masalas (unnecessary songs, fight scenes, lengthy dialogues, lectures etc.). I appreciate the efforts of the director and his best team. Lead actors Upendra Limaye and Mukta Barve have given their best. I liked the role of Kishore Kadam who has taken the role of Eunuch. Kishore Kadam gave great performance in the movie Natrang also.

Pains of Thayappa(Upendra Limaye) was really captured in a scene when he dances (after taking a drink) in a street for a fast beat in an ongoing procession. Tears roll out naturally while watching this, you can feel the pain gone through a person who is having no way to escape from the society.

Music directors Ajay-Atul have given a wonderful creative music. Natural folk is reflected in the song "Lallati Bhandar" best sung naturally by Ajay Gogavale with traditional instruments. Best song of the movie is "Jeev Rangla" by Hariharan and Shreya Goshal. Listening to this song gives you a trans experience.

This is a must watch movie for all.
